Year 7 chemistry classes began the second semester with an introduction to the basic units of matter – atoms, elements, compounds, and mixtures. Students researched information about the topic and participated in a number of activities for example exploring the behavior of water molecules, and making ‘elephants’ toothpaste’ also known as the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. At present students are completing the final assignment for this topic by investigating how the Periodic Table of Elements was developed. The next unit will explore States of Matter and the differences between chemical and physical changes.

七年级的生物课上，我们刚刚结束了第一单元《人体结构》。在这一单元中，我们花了很多时间在研究细胞、器官和人体八大系统等知识上。上周，七年级的同学花了一节实验课的时间，五个人一组完成了大白鼠的解剖实验。虽然关于“如何对待实验动物”我们还有很多值得商榷的地方，但是每位同学都对解剖实验十分感兴趣。Rainbow同学还对白鼠遗体进行了埋葬和默哀。
